| This thesis includes the main research and summary of the traffic control and intelligent optimization algorithm,which have been done by the author during his studying for Master Degree.With the modern economy and urban development, urban traffic has caused a lot of attention of states and governments. So traffic control with modern electronic technology and computer technology and the development of mathematics has a rapid development.Also,the accuracy of the traffic control system has been improved greatly by the development of technologies.In the past years, the development of the traffic control has done significant impact on the urban transport,and has improved the urban traffic,especially has improved the transport capacity of the main road.At the same time, with the modern development of various control methods,the study on traffic control has been constantly emphasized. Especially the variety of modern intelligent control methods and intelligent optimization algorithms play an important role in traffic control and the signal timing of control system.This thesis gives the optimization of Bidirectional Green-Wave which is one of the hot traffic control problems about the coordinate control.First of all,the thesis briefly gives some introductions of the basic principles of traffic control and traffic signal timing.And according to the needs of the following research, thesis describes the principles and steps of the intelligent optimization algorithms which are in common use.And according to the characteristics between intelligent algorithms ,the comparisons have been done. Meanwhile,this thesis do a detailed description to Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) which will be used in the thesis,then the principle and formulas of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) are introduced,also the characteristics of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) are given.Secondly, this thesis dicusses the layout of traffic acquisition sensors in the main road. On condition of the different roads,this thesis give some discussions on the reasonable layout of traffic acquisition sensors to have a good collection of accurate traffic parameters and traffic signals in the main road.And the whole ideas about the layout of traffic acquisition sensors are given.Then,some discussions on the concept and control objectives of Bidirectional Green-Wave are done,and the models of Bidirectional Green-Wave are constructed by the analysises of the property indexes in traffic control,also this thesis does some discussions on the models of Bidirectional Green-Wave and does some introductions about the basic concepts and principles of multi-objective optimization,in the end,the optimization objectives-delays and parking rates are given.After the above discussion,this thesis optimizes the models of multi-objective by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO),and gives the detail description of basic optimal steps.Finally,this thesis does certain simulation and gives some summaries and predicts on traffic control. |
