Intelligent Traffic Signal Control System Of City Roads

The intelligent city traffic signal control system is used for city roads traffic control and management , realizing the intelligent control of traffic signal, and is of great use for expedite traffic of the city roads. Expect for realizing the basic functions of other city traffic signal control systems, with the F-V-Webster and B·M·Cobbe' theory, fuzzy control theory and two-way control theory, this intelligent traffic signal control system of city roads develops the new functions such as optimization design of timing, fuzzy control and two-way green wave control, and performs the traffic simulation of the fuzzy control and two-way green wave control. The result shows that, the system can realize the fuzzy control and two-way green wave control of traffic signal effectively, enhance the efficiency of vehicles passing the intersection. The design theory, analysis method and software realize method of optimization design of timing, fuzzy control and two-way green wave control of traffic signal are expounded by this paper, which offers a good platform for the further research of traffic signal control.
