Chinese ship industry has made a great development in recent years, the shipbuilding output has gained the third mark in the world market for many years. However, there is still a long road ahead for Chinese building industry to catch up with Japanese and Korea building industry. Some research has proven that production efficiency is largely depended on the company management. So in order to improve the shipyard's management and enforce its international competition, it is very important to deeply study all kinds of problems during shipbuilding process and explore various manufacture techniques and management methods.Based on the actual management condition of Yantai Raffles Shipyard, research of this article concentrate on the following aspects:First, an improved ship production breakdown structure is built based on the concept of modern shipbuilding principle. It can dynamically show shipbuilding process and be an efficient platform for information exchange among different department.Second, according to ship design company properties, develop the research for the ship design reserve plan. Article gives a method to estimate the digital characters of the stochastic process. Because this stochastic process is a generic one, it is difficult to resolve it with mathematics'method, so use the Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the risk of reserve period, it is practical meaning for shipyard to choose reserve period for shipbuilding design.Third, discuss the content of shipbuilding management, analyze the method and principle for shipbuilding plan, establish the plan system on the basis of SCHAHIN project of Yantai Raffles Shipyard by application of DPE software.Finally, recognize and analyze the risk during the shipbuilding. Using even tree analysis based on fuzzy sets theory analyze the risk of piping design failure. By control of shipbuilding risk, reduce the possible loss that results in.
