Production planning management is the central part of the shipyard management, which can provide goals and expected results for shipyards. However, there are several shortcomings in existing shipbuilding production management process, such as ineffectiveness of relevant software, roughness of plan contents and inefficient of the production process under the guidance of the production plan. Because of all of these problems, various kinds of wastes exist in production process, which lead to lower efficiency, longer cycles and more production cost. Lean production is a kind of management mode whose main target is to eliminate all kinds of wastes in the process of production. Therefore, carrying out lean shipbuilding production plan management, which means eliminating production wastes from the aspect of planning management according to lean shipbuilding principles, can improve the efficiency and economic benefits.In this thesis, analysis of existing shipbuilding production plan management is done firstly to find out its insufficiencies. Then, principles of lean shipbuilding plan are summarized and optimization models are established to make the process of plan making and adjusting more intelligent and automatic. Meanwhile, these models can make the production process more continuous, balanced and lean. In the end, UML models and lean shipbuilding production plan system are finished to implement information management for shipbuilding plan management. Main contents of this study are as follows:1) Summarizing insufficiencies in existing shipbuilding production plan management process; illustrating the content of lean shipbuilding management and work breakdown structure of lean shipbuilding.2) Establishing optimization models of lean production plan based on principles of lean thinking in aspects of lean erection plan, lean pre-construction plan, lean post-construction plan and lean pre-processing plan.3) Raising new solving schemes to cope with the problems associated with nonlinearity and discretization in optimization models based on an improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm; Using these models to solve actual production planning problem to testify their effectiveness.4) Finishing analysis and design of lean shipbuilding production plan system with UML which has advantages in dealing with complex system; Finishing coding work of the system primarily, designing system interfaces, demonstrating operation process.
