Vehicle driving monitor, also known as "vehicle traveling data recorder ", which is able to record all kinds of monitoring information in vehicle's running process, can be used to suppress the overspeed and tired drive,control drivers'bad driving habit, guarantee vehicle driving safety and analyze traffic accidents. It plays a very important role in improving the level of law enforcement on traffic management department and transportation enterprises. Therefore, research on vehicle driving monitor and its related technologies can bring good social and economic benefits.First, after explaining the importance of vehicle driving monitor in transportation and vehicle safety management, the thesis makes a summary of domestic and overseas research status and the application of embedded technologies in this field, as well as the current development tendency and limitations of previous research. Aiming at this issue and combined with project practice, the thesis mainly focuses on the monitoring information, solid-state storage technology, and the realization process of monitoring information recorded and stored on solid-state storage medium.Second, based on the analysis of every hierarchy's composition and function of vehicle driving monitoring system's network topology structure, the thesis makes a detailed description of the types and current collection technologies of vehicle driving monitoring information. Later, after making a comparison of the popular solid-state storage mediums used in current vehicle driving monitors, it puts out a kind of solid-state storage method for the embedded multi-vehicle driving monitor. The organization patterns and storage formats of monitoring information on this storage platform are analyzed, as well as the communication technologies and protocols between vehicle driving monitor and host computer.Third, taking the embedded multi-vehicle driving monitor as an example, the thesis describes the implementation and reliable design of the recording and storing process of monitoring information on its solid-state storage medium. In order to confirm the feasibility and practicality of the embedded multi-vehicle driving monitor, function test of the prototype system's main modules are carried out with expected results.
