Because of it's high strength, low cost, integrated and it's water stability, semi-rigid asphalt pavement has been widely used in China's highway construction. However, there is some micro-cracks in semi-rigid base when they were constructed. The micro-cracks can be easily expanded into a base cracks run through the entire thickness by traffic load and temperature load of redundant role, and expanded into the bituminous layer to form reflective crack possibly. The cracks would weaken the structure and reduce the impact of pavement life.In this paper, ANSYS program is used to establish the model of the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement with cracks. We analyze the stress in the structure of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement with cracks by changing the thickness of the structure and modulus, then we can get the regularity of stress when thickness and modulus are changing.Through analyzing the stress in the structure when surface layer is cracked or semi-rigid base is cracked, we can recommend the proper thickness and modulus of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement should adopt to avoid further broken.
