Research On The Limit Span Of The Self-anchored Suspension Bridge With Single Tower

The self-anchored suspension bridge has some advantages of novel,beautiful,Economy,strong adaptability at geological conditions and so on,developed rapidly in recent years.Several dozens of the self-anchored suspension bridges that less 400m span.The self-anchored suspension bridge will the cable directly in the main girder anchor,do not need the big anchorage structure,be a individul mechanical system.The kind of bridge has strong adaptability at bad geological conditions,to be a very competitive bridge.Because the self-anchored suspension bridge appeared very early,so we have some researches about the limit span of journal of self-anchored suspension bridges,but the self-anchored suspension bridge is a new type of bridge,so it is necessary to do some researching in the limit span of the self-anchored suspension bridge.Not only to have the relationship of every parameters to the limit span,but also can be make bridge design based on it,give suggestions,and optimize the design scheme.This paper give the formula about the limit span of the self-anchored suspension bridge that main beam has axial load and bending based on the strength of materials,and do some reserch on the limit span of the self-anchored suspension bridge what was influenced by main parameters.And the limit span on concrete main beam and steel main beam the same case.Based on some bridge that in Tsingtao,do some analysis and testing in the relationships of the limit span and main parameters,get the limit span in current conditions.Give some reasonable suggestions about how to improve the limit of span,get the best parameters combination in current conditions.Through the research to get the conclusion:The cable tower and rise-span ratios are highly and main span ratio of span limit value has greater influence,its into positive and negative respectively than linear relationship,phase load and live load and suspenders spacing also impact to the limit of span,but the influence osmall scale.Main span an edge ratio has no obvious effect in span of limit.
