Because of graceful appearance, flexible site-selection as well as non-anchorage settlement, the self-anchored suspension bridge has been frequently used in recent years. In spite of numerous researches in theory and practice, the systemic research is still lacked.Based on construction background of Foshan PingSheng Bridge, the structural system and parameter sensitivity of self-anchored suspension bridge has been analyzed. It can be applied in further studies in bridge design or structural optimization. The main content of this article and the results are as follows:1. Development and main characteristics of the self-anchored suspension bridge has been comprehensively reviewed, summarizing the structure and mechanical behavior of the research status of self-anchored suspension bridge;2. The analytic expression of three towers with double pylons and double across with single pylon has been deduced, summarizing the effect of different structural parameters for the self-anchored suspension bridge limit span;3. Taking the PingSheng Bridge as an example, the paper gives a comparative analysis of the influences of different structural forms and changes in the structural parameters to the static property of the self-anchored suspension bridge and provides the basic principles for the structural optimization;4. Based on the dynamic analysis of Foshan PingSheng Bridge, the effect of different structure parameters for the self-anchored suspension bridge has been discussed. Meanwhile, the influence of dynamic characteristics as the self-anchored suspension bridge seismic resistance, wind and other power design basis;5. Using the finite element method and analytical formula methods in the analysis of girder stability of Foshan PingSheng Bridge, this paper puts forward a preliminary estimate safety factor of the girder equivalent stiffness elastic support beam rods. In addition, the main girder, and the stability of the tower is analyzed and the parameters of the study. |
