Pavement quality is reached in the construction quality assurance, in which the temperature of asphalt mixtures play a key role. But in the current on the quality of the road construction the temperature control of the asphalt mixture depends on point-thermometer, it is very limited. It shows that the infrared thermal camera used abroad in construction improves the quality of the road construction commendably in practice.On the basis of plenty of tests and test data,the author research temperature measurement used in the infrared thermal camera.Firstly, by comparing traditional temperature measurement and the infrared thermal camera temperature measurement, the author analyse the features of the infrared thermal camera temperature measurement; the paper proposes application of the infrared thermal camera on the mixing, transport, spreading and rolling of asphalt pavement, and solves problem ontemperature detection method of the mixture, while comparing the current method of testing the temperature, according comprehensive and accurate data provided by the infrared thermal camera,it makes up for deficiencies of temperature measurement; by testing various aspects of asphalt temperature in construction, the paper analyses portrait, horizontal and vertical distribution of the temperature; proposed the temperature loss rule of the surface of asphalt mixture;according to actual situation, the author analyses on the criteria of temperature segregation at home and abroad and its reasonableness,then combination with the PQI data the author advances the evaluation indicators of temperature segregation which bases on the quality of asphalt pavement mixture, and tests the reasonableness by the standard.
