| Since the reform and opening up, the rapid development of China's highway construction, especially expressway development has achieved remarkable achievement, which also promoted the rapid development of China's economy, and sped up stone resources consumption. Although China has more stone resources, many areas were short of high quality stone resources due to the uneven distribution. In order to alleviate this phenomenon, in this paper, application of andesitic porphyrite in asphalt pavement is studied.In this paper, the road performance of andesitic porphyrite is studied. That the performance of andesitic porphyrite with lithical hard, wear resistant well, but porous rough, high water absorption and strong frictional resistance, so they bring great influence on design, production and construction of asphalt mixture. By adhesive test show that aggregate in the case of fully drying, porosity can enhance the adhesion. According to the engineering properties of andesitic porphyrite by analyzing the methods of theoretical maximum relative density, the immersing test method and the gradation optimization design method are put forward.Besides, study on the water stability, high temperature performance and low temperature performance, the results show that there will be a well road performance. Through theoretical analysis and comparative tests, the measures to improve water stability is recommended. Also, the improving measures of aggregate production, storage and asphalt mixture production, transportation, paving, compaction are put forward. Through experimented the road to lay has confirmed the design and the construction measure rationality. |
