After the damage investigation and analysis of asphalt pavement in this paper, it considered that quality control of asphalt pavement construction should be detected in time and prevent road surface quality defects, proposed to increase necessary rutting performance testing methods in construction quality control testing.First, use the finite element method to simulate the cylindrical specimen and the plate specimen rutting test. Analysis of test results can be obtained, in the rutting testing, the changing trend of cylindrical specimen stress and shear stress is in line with the plate specimens stress and the shear stress, indicating cylindrical specimen is closely related with the plate specimen in rutting performance, the activity and development of rutting has the similar rule. Resulted that use drilling core sample in the rutting test, can be used to detect the site asphalt pavement anti-rutting performance.Second, by using different asphalt mixtures for cylindrical specimens and plate specimens in rutting test, analysis of test results showed that the rutting performance of the two shape of the specimen have high correlation, and then according to test results of cylindrical specimens, combined with existing norms on the requirements of the rutting index, builds on-site drilling core samples of asphalt mixture specimen technical standards of the anti-rutting performance.Finally, on the basis of theoretical analysis and experiment, combined with support projects, raised in the quality detection stage of asphalt pavement construction to increase the cylindrical specimen in rutting test, it can control the performance of asphalt pavement more effectively.Summary the whole paper research results, based on cylindrical specimens of asphalt pavement construction quality control method is effective, and its guidance for the construction of asphalt pavement has important practical significance.
