The Research Of Online Detection Technology Of Wire Rope

As a key part of hoist, transportation and bearing equipment, the steel rope is widely used in a lot of engineering fields, the security is one of the most important problems during its use. This research is put forward by the need of real-time online detection of wire rope on the base of analyzing and discussing the domestic and foreign research in steel rope detection and the principle of electromagnetic detection, the hardware and software for detecting the faults of the steel rope are developed in this dissertation.The main contents of the paper can be introduced as follow.Firstly in this dissertation the domestic and foreign research history of wire rope detection theory is described, and then carries on the analysis to its trend of development.Secondly, the basic principle and method in wire rope online testing are introduced. The main point of design is proposed after assailing the common breakdown of wire rope.Third, the detail design for wire rope online testing is proposed. The hardware system include magnetic leakage testing circuit, data collecting, CAN circuit. The software system include software architecture design basing on VxWorks operating system, hardware drive design, CAN communication protocols design.Finally, research work of this dissertation is summarized, and the forecast is also carried on for the development prospects of this research and the practical application.
