The precision of inertial unit has great influence to navigation devices and navigation systems.How to improve, test and evaluate this precision is becoming more and more important. The inertial unit testing and evaluation system is designed and implemented for this very purpose.During the maintenance process, the system's architecture was found some improvements to make.This paper will discuss what this projuect did to make these improvements in detail:firstly, the logical of the testing subsystem is analyzed and then the state flow chart is abstracted; based on these efforts, a refined architecture is designed and will be applied for the whole system; at last, the testing subsystem is implemented as an instance under the new architecture.The system can obtain angular velocity and acceleration of simulated missile's fight motion and then calculate the missile's position, pose, etc.These parameters are regarded as actual values which should cooperate with theoretical ones to achieve navigation effects.To get theoretical parameters,a serial of motion equations need to be solved. Therefore, GSL is introduced into this system and the modeling of the missile's flight motion is described, too.This project is not only an improvement to the architecture but also an expansion of system's function, which means a lot to the missile flight simulation and the final navigation system.
