With the rapid development of modern science and technology and the improvement of living standards, people tend to have an increasing dependence on vehicles, and automobile intelligentize and information fusion has become one of the important development trend of auto industry.To meet the higher requirements of automobile performance put forwarddue to increasingly improvment quality of daily life, and to improve the comprehensive performance such as vehicle handling stability and ride comfort, thedynamic parameters that reflect the car running state must be tested and evaluated. Currently, the test of vehicle dynamic parameters are mainlycarried out by using professional measuring instruments in special test site.To some degree, it achieved the automobile performance test requirements, however, the test process is complex, the testing condition and parameters are single. In order to test the various dynamic parameters such as body posture, traveling track in different road conditions in the process of driving more comprehensively and real-timely, this topic has studied and designed a embedded vehicle dynamic parameter testing system on the basis of inertial navigation technology theroy.The main research contents are as follows:First of all, this paper introduced the current situation of automobile dynamic parameter testing technology and inertial navigation technology in domestic and foreign, and illustrated the vehicle dynamic parametertest methods as well as their advantages and disadvantages.The research topic in this paper was proposed and the basis of vehicle dynamic performance test systembased on inertial navigation was drawed by contrast analysis.And by discussing the basic principle of inertial navigation technology in detail, this paper laid the theoretical foundation of the testing system's design.Secondly, the basic principle and function of test system were expounded, and the working principle and selection basis of the hardware part such as inertial measurement unit,acquisition equipment, and embedded devices in the test system was introduced in detail according to the established functions, then the hardware platform based on Windows CE embedded operating system was built.On the basis of overall design of the software, the vehicle test system is divided into several modules such as data acquisition module, the strapdown decoding module, data storage module, drawing module and error compensation module with thedevelopment tool of C + + language in Visual Studio 2008, and the flow chart drawingand program writing of each module were finishedin line with the specific function.The design of vehicle dynamic performance testing system based on inertial navigation wascompletedthrough the combination of hardware system and software sy stem,which can provides the basis ofimproving the vehicle dynamic performance and the realizingvehicle navigation function.Finally, to verify the reliability, stability and accuracy of the testing system, the test scheme was designed. The contrast test of the body posture testing system in different test items with AH100-B was conducted. By analyzing the error of the test system and putting forward the corresponding error compensation method, the test data was analyzed. And the experimental results showed that the test system had good performance function of parameters acquisition, decoding, saving, and drawing,which realized the intended purpose of vehicle dynamic performance test. It has certain practicality in the field of automobile performance test due to its simple operation, easy to carry and highly integration.
