Research On Quality Of Automobile Body Panel Stamping Forming Based On Simulation Analysis

With the development of automobile industry, computer simulation technology of sheet forming process develops rapidly and is put into application. Try Out Method traditionally adopted in the design of auto body panel mold cannot meet the demand nowadays and can hardly guarantee the product with high quality for the long manufacturing period and the great expenditure. Stamping forming simulation technology can improve the above situation by computer simulation of sheet forming process, which can replace the practical trial to offer reasonable process parameters for panel process design and mold design, and can control and improve the quality of product.Based on the above and the research done, the research in this thesis has been done in the following four aspects:1. The process characteristics of auto body panel stamping forming is researched, and reasons of quality problems existing in forming are discussed, and countermeasures are presented, which provide theoretical support to product quality control in the process of stamping simulation.2. Surface quality of auto body panel is assessed quantitatively by Audit assessment and surface quality can be controlled effectively in manufacturing.3. The fore board of front board is taken as the research object and Auto-Form software is used to make a draw simulation. When the parameter setting is not appropriate, many strain state spots on the part are beyond the safety region of forming limit diagram, however, after correcting these parameters, simulation result shows that forming quality is obviously improved.4. The feasibility of improving the stamping forming quality of auto body panel and measures for improving are presented from the following three aspects:building standards of stamping forming quality, mold design of stamping forming and simulation of stamping forming.The above simulation analysis offers important reference for stamping process formulation and mold design. Quality standards and measures of improving quality built by quality control theories offer guarantee for forming quality of auto body panel. The research of this project has the important practical application value.
