Along with urbanization, building structures are increasing toward the system of structural complexity,feature-rich comprehensive direction, high-rise buildings in the future will be the subject of study. Giant structure is a new structural system, is necessary for high-rise buildings development. Mega-frame vibration-absorption structures have many vibration-absorption functions such as tuned mass vibration damping, base isolation and damping energy dissipation. In this paper, between the main frame and the sub-frame adding reinforced concrete columns to separate sub-frame and main frame, and the bottom of columns in the sub-frame is set the vibration energy dissipation devices to form multifunctional vibration mega-frame structure.In this paper, elaborated the mechanical properties of bearings, and then established calculation model of a mega-frame damping structure and derived the system power balance equation from the theory. The main framework of a three layer structure of the giant structure damping, for example, using SAP2000 software analyze seismic time history response of vibration-absorption structure and seismic structure, and compared characteristics of dynamic characteristics and seismic response.Papers discuss the seismic response of seismic structure and vibration - absorption structure, and compare the response results of two structures. The results show that: multifunctional vibration-absorption mega-frame structure has a very obvious vibration damping effect, bearings have good energy isolation capacity.
