The main structure made up by several large-scale structural units co-works with the sub-structure made up by other structural unite to form the mega-frame structure and to construct a high-rise construction system with integrated stability and higher efficiency. The mega-frame structure guarantees the integrity and stiffness of the structure. It can also make good use of the materials and configuration at the same time of reducing amount of materials. This structure, simplifying structure and decreasing cost, makes the flexibility of architecture design possible.With the increase of the height and weight of mega-frame structure, the more wind load and horizontal seismic action it can endure. Thus, it is necessary for high and extra-high mega-frame structure to take measures of damping in construction. It has been proved by experiments that TMD system is effective for high buildings to wind vibration absorption control. But compared with wind vibration,control of seismic response is more complicated and further investigation is still in need.Based on the initial design of mega-frame structure which does not adopt any damping measure, the paper aims to set the TMD subsystem, apply the controlling principles of TMD system, adjust and match the system of stiffness,damping and quality, and make use of the dynamic interaction of the subsystem and main-frame.Meanwhile, it investigates the feasibility and control effect of control of seismic response. The main studies in the paper are presented as following,(1) It summarizes the methods for analyzing seismic response so as to supply theory groundwork for seismic response of aseismic mega-frame structure and vibration absorption mage-frame structure. The development of structure's seismic theory has been experiencing three phases of static force,and dynamical force in past years.SAP2000 finite element calculating software is used to analyze structure's dynamical character in time-history analysis which is a practical method for dynamical theory.(2) It forms the initial design of structure; analyzes the dynamic characteristics of structure and the damping of routine design. Moreover, the characteristic of seismic response of mega-frame structure which does not impose TMD system in the condition of multi-dimensional seism input is also investigated as the criterion of control effect.(3) It tries to optimize the passive TMD damping control concerning the aseismic...
