Campus landscape is one of the important part of the university newly developed area, not only it to establish the image of university, and to optimize the environment space of newly developed area, but also it is base of life, study, and activities of the people in university. At the same time, the good landscape could help the people in university to build up the outlook on life and world view of positive, promote body and mind of them develop harmoniously.With the higher education universal, students enrolled scope to expand gradually in our country, the process construct of newly developed area quickly, more and more new questions and problems also have been appearing. In social background today, how to design the university landscape can avoid and solve these new questions and problems is important research in this thesis.The thesis takes the landscape design of university newly developed area as research object. It analyzes and concludes that the present situation of landscape design in university newly developed area of our country. In addition, it defines the related theory. This thesis analyzes the decisive factor which is nature factor and man-made factor, and research that elements for the landscape design in the newly developed area, what's more, it represent different function area landscape design and creation, which is the main entrance area, the teaching area, the dormitory living area, the sport area, and leisure landscape area. After that, this thesis concludes that the specific characteristics and the design method of the newly developed area, and it come up with the develop trend for our country, which is personalized landscape design and low cost landscape design in today and future in university newly developed area.
