| Known as the "ivory tower",the school is a special place isolated from the outside world(social?),and a holy land for preaching,teaching and solving puzzles,and also a spiritual home for teachers and students to purify their minds,understand their knowledge and think about academic issues.The outdoor "thinking" place in university campus can provide such a situation for teachers and students to relax,think and realize their needs.And in recent years,with the teachers and the students is enlarged by thought,work and learn pressure,all kinds of psychological problems appear frequently.The outdoor "thinking" place of university campus,which provide the hush of the outdoor environment of alleviated learning pressure,relax for the teachers and the students,which make them in easing the joyful atmosphere,have a broader way of thinking to think and innovate.However,currently,there are very few The outdoor "thinking" place of university campus in China,which cannot to meet the demands of the majority of teachers and students.Therefore,niversity campus landscape design of outdoor "thinking" place should be born.The construction of university campus landscape of outdoor "thinking" place is urgent.At present,the research on thinking is mainly manifested in theoretical research,which focuses on what is thinking,thinking categories,thinking methods,etc.The research on places is relatively mature and systematic,and has been applied to various disciplines.Nevertheless,the research on landscape design applied to thinking place is rare,especially the corresponding concept study and applied theory and practiced study,more lacked of campus design of outdoor "thinking" place.In this paper,author analyzes of definition,design goal and specific requirements of university campus landscape of outdoor "thinking" place through the definition of environmental psychology related theory,and explores landscape design methods of "thinking" place which is practiced and applied to landscape design of "thinking" place of new campus of Shanxi normal university that create a quiet environment for the majority of teachers and students and make them away from the noisy,annoyed and flashy of modern city,and also build a kingdom of heaven of learning and thinking for the teachers and the students,and guide their thinking and help them to improve their innovation ability.For this purpose,this paper divides the research content into the following three parts through maslow’s hierarchy of needs,user requirements analysis and "thinking" place landscape analysis of case:Firstly,this paper introductions background,purpose,significance and research method of university campus landscape of outdoor "thinking" place,and reviews the related literature at home and abroad.It analyzes and summarizes researched status quo of university campus of outdoor "thinking" place,puts forward the academic questions of university campus landscape of outdoor "thinking" place,clears the research direction and framework.Secondly,the paper analyzes design goal,specific requirements through the questionnaire survey and field behavioral observation,and sets forth on university campus of outdoor "thinking" place and analyzes user requirements and analyzes correlatived university campus of outdoor "thinking" place of user’s demand and maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory combined with maslow’s hierarchy of needs.The paper starts from the physiological,security,belonging and love,self-esteem and self-actualization needs to 5 design goals and 21 specific requirements of outdoor "thinking" place.The author extracts and purifies design method of landscape design elements on the basis of the design target extraction.Finally,the paper from the terrain,plant,water,pavement,and structure of five main elements screening and summarizing of "thinking" place landscape of 68 kinds of design methods and selecting and applying to the new campus of Shanxi normal university landscape of outdoor "thinking" place.The methods guides landscape design of the new campus of Shanxi normal university landscape planning design of "thinking" places from 5 design goals,such as terrain,plant,pavement,to create a design method normal cultural connotation,to follow the landscape elements of the terrain,plant of landscape of "thinking" place and the based of ecological landscape design method,the spirit of humanities and natural the total design of university campus landscape design of outdoor "thinking" place.In this paper,the main conclusions and contributions are as follows: 1.Through the investigation and the behavior observation analysis,puts forward the connotation of "thinking" place landscape is a visual aesthetic value of concrete material entity space of satisfy one or more persons have a purpose or without a purpose for learning,academic communication,reading,reading,walking,decompression,stunning,thinking such as static or dynamic thinking activity;2.The paper analyzes Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and university campus of "thinking" place of the user’s requirements,and puts forward the design goal of the outdoor places of "thinking" and specific requirements.The design goals are environmental comfort,high security,a pleasant climate,half illicit close space and visual aesthetic feeling.The paper under the guidance of the design goal to put forward ecological base,prior function,environment fusion,humanities and natural,economic fitting,security and stability,and beautiful and easy design principles;3.The paper further clarifies the direction of refining the design method through the design goal and specific requirements,and summarizes the design method of "thinking" place landscape design of university campus outdoor.Table 3.5-3.9 summarize the design method from the perspective of landscape elements such as terrain,plant,water,pavement and structure.The paper plays a guiding role in theoretical research and practical application of university landscape design of outdoor "thinking" place,and makes due contributions to the cultivation of innovative talents in colleges and
