The East Campus Of China Agricultural University Landscape Design

With the rapid development of university campus in China,a study of designing campus landscape has become a hot topic.How to design a characteristic campus landscape with readable and visual images instead of the similarity to other landscapes when conducting a surge of construction,has been becoming an important subject in today's campus landscape design.Based on an emphasis on the construction and innovation of the surrounding culture during the reform and opening-up,many higher teaching institutions have obtained some achievements in the aspect of the campus renovation and new construction.However,there is still a "homogenization" phenomenon as well as problems.Various contradictions are becoming increasingly prominent in designing campus landscape,resulting in the absence of the uniqueness and characteristics of campus landscape environment.This paper was divided into three parts to study this project.The first part introduced problems as well as concepts related to the research topic.On the basis of a "homogenization" phenomenon as well as problems in campus landscape design,the significance of title was demonstrated in Chapter One.The content,method,and purpose of this research are also illustrated and the reasons for above problem were also analyzed.The key is to think about the method of solving problem after defining the existing problem.In addition,the concept and method with the differentiation was presented according to the project design goal.The second part described the studies on campus landscape design from home and abroad.Chapter Two summarized recent studies on worldwide campus landscape design and analyzed the features of these landscapes as well as the "homogenization" problem.The third part displayed the design in practice cases.The personality and characteristic of China Agricultural University in designing campus landscape was built in Chapter Three using the differentiation method.It can influence directly the shaping of campus culture and the improvement of the campus culture quality.A characteristic campus landscape was created to maximally motivate facilitate the imagination,creativity and communication of the staff and students.The fourth part is the conclusions.The research findings in this study can be concluded in Chapter Four via the theoretical summary,insufficient and prospect.
