The Analysis Of Chinese Urban Wetland Park Facilities Design

Urban Wetland Park Facilities refers to the installations used for resting, decoration, lighting, displaying and the small construction facilities using for management or the convenience of visitors in the urban wetland park, which have the typical characteristics of wetland and the ecological functions,with the main content of ecological protection, science education, natural rustic charm and leisure tours.In recent years, the rapid development of urban wetland park led to repetitive planning, which is lack of geographical features.The facilities,which supposed to be the important elements reflecting the characteristics of urban wetland have fell into "characteristic flaw". In addition, there are problems of facilities such as excessive forms which are hard to be unified, rough material and technology, the lack of human scale, incompletement of facilitiy functions, lack of facilities that can be participated in, which to some extent, affected the quality of urban wetland landscape, reducing the interest of sightseeing.Firstly, by studying classification, planning content and planning principles of the urban wetland park, we define the environmental characteristics of urban wetland park facilities. Secondly, we clear the features and content of urban wetland park facilities based on the classification and the general design principles of landscape facilities combinded with the wetland environment. Then,we select the Hangzhou Xixi National Wetland Park and Hong Kong Wetland Park as Case Study,which are analyzed from the function,the form and the material respectively,with the consideration of location facts,park resources and the planning of wetland park to summarize the design principles of urban wetland park facilities. Concerning the specific design methods, you can follow the steps,which are excavation-combing-interpretation of the wetland characteristics. About the step of"interpretation",we can achieve by means of"the prototype summary", three-dimensional reliefs"and"flat silhouette"etc. Finally, on the basis of design principles and methods of urban wetland park facilities,we have studied the category design to clear the design points of different facilities in urban wetland park.
