Path planning is one of the key technologies of virtual assembly and can resolve the potential problem in assembly by feeding back the irrationalities of product design and sequence planning,Thus it can improve efficiency,decrease assembly time,reduce assembly cost and ensure assembly quality.Many researchs on path planning technology of ship piping system on the DELMIA platform were presented in this disseratio.The particular analysis and conclusion in country inside and outside on path planning algorithmic for vitural assembly were provided in this disseration.And deep reaearch on all kinds of path planning algorithmic and deficiency of these algorithmics in ship piping system were provided too.then it conclude a path planning algorithmic based on match connection in the principle of relation between assembly and disassembly,and meanwhile it also introduce in detail three key technologies which were dynamic step length,dynamic choosing surrounding box and place-posture transformation.it put the generation path of ship piping system into the DELMIA platform validating the feasibility and rationality,at the same time it perfect the path by rectifing the irrationality.in the end,it conclude the disseration and point out the direction of future research.
