Environmental pollution and energy crisis are the two major global issues impact on the whole world, also the two major problems which modern automobile industry sustainable development is facing. Development new energy-saving cars with low power consumption and low emissions can effectively mitigate environmental pressures and improve the environmental quality. It is also the pressing matter for China's national automotive industry's survival and development. Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV), the combination of traditional fuel vehicles and pure electric vehicles, is the most feasible energy-saving clean vehicle, and becomes one of the research hotspot in automobile industry at present.Using the ISG parallel series hybrid electric vehicle with CVT as the research object in this paper. CVT is the ideal transmission for vehicle, metal belt CVT has been a comprehensive applications at the present time. CVT with the hybrid system is the best combination to achieve the high performance,low fuel consumption and low emissions targets, to study on hybrid electric vehicles matching CVT systems and control strategies has great theoretical significance and practical worthiness. The configuration of ISG-Parallel Series hybrid System has been devised in this paper. The numerical model of hybrid electric vehicle was built firstly, numerical model of engine built by experimentation modeling method, the simulation model of whole vehicle and each components were built based on the ADVISOR. The basic structure and work principle of the metal belt drives system has been analyzed, and the numerical model of metal belt transmission was established. Had study on the hybrid electric vehicle control strategy and make a detailed analysis of the eight hybrid vehicle operating conditions in this paper, and constituted the corresponding CVT matching control strategy.Based on the analysis of modeling process in ADVISOR2002, the simulation model of ISG parallel series hybrid electric vehicle with CVT was built by second development of ADVISOR combine with the actual car, the fuzzy control strategy block was integrated into this model. The simulation model be used for calculate the whole vehicle's power performance and fuel consumption. The analysis of simulation results shows that the design of hybrid systems and control strategies has achieve better energy-saving effects and reducing emissions.
