Because of advantages such as long lifetime, low power consumption, and no mercury containing, LEDs are widely used in a variety of general-purpose illumination applications. In the family or commercial general-purpose lighting applications, not only need to ensure lighting effects, but also should play to the advantage of LED colors, LED applications will be more popular.In the LED color mixing applications, there are many issues to be solved, such as drive, digital dimming, color mixing, color decay caused by the rise of junction temperature, thermal management, and so on.In this paper, the optical characteristics of LED are analyzed to identify the main factors affecting the quality of light. Taking into account the lack of color temperature and color rendering of current RGB LED color mixing system, this design joins amber, making colors more saturated, color temperature have a larger range. The rise of LED junction temperature will cause changes of light spectrum and light flux, this paper presents a kind of optical feedback closed-loop PI control solution, using PSoC (programming system of chip) controller to achieve the precise color control.Based on the analysis of LED's electrical characteristics in detail, find a reasonable drive way, and constant-current LED driver circuit has been designed and analyzed. On this basis, design the LED fault diagnosis circuit to diagnostic LED for short circuit and open circuit. This design uses PrISM modulation method for digital dimming, through the pseudo-random counter generated high frequency non-periodic signal output, to obtain a low noise, easy to use modulation from EMI / EMC point of view.This human-machine interface uses touch pad based on switched capacitor technology. Accomplishing the design of anti- jamming based on in-depth research of capacitive sense by hardware and software. Software design use the mathematical centroid algorithm improves the accuracy of touch sensitive characteristic.On the final chapter of paper, achieve the design of hardware and software on system-level. In the software design, taking into account that Bin codes are not uniformity, accomplishing Bin codes compensation. In addition, discussing the future research, and put forward my own views on thermal management and communication.
