Semiactive control with its advantages of low power consumption andgood performance, becomes research highlight recent years. As a new electronicintelligent material, MRD has the advantages as simple control, low powerconsumption, strong damper force, responding qucikly and roubst, so it becomesa new promising application device in vibration reduction research.As application and research advance, many scholar propose manymathematical model and control methods on MED. But for its character of highnon-linear, by now, there is still not a common and accurate mathematical modelfor it. On the other hand, many control methods have to be proved and furtherresearched. So it is need some plotform reliable to inspect and verify the controlmethod, and let it can be used with MRD in actual application.Firstly, this research sets up a economic and useful one dimension vibrationreduction platform through researching and understanding the properties ofMRF and MRD. This vibration reduction has a programmable excitionproducing by AC servo motor. The AC servo motor is control by computer viamotion card and C++ programme. The computer get the data via lower computerand running the control algorithm to control the lower computer to output acurrent value. And develop a GUI and control programme in Matlab/Simulinkusing S-Function programmed by C++ programme. Finally, apply On-Offcontrol and fuzzy control algorithm to the vibration. And it has beed proved thatthese tow control algorithm are in effect, and the vibration reduction platformalso can be used for application.
