Wire mesh damping device uses metal wire as the main raw material and is made by a certain process, like ordinary rubber with resilient homogeneous porous component. Wire mesh damping device uses internal slip between the metal wire and produces large quantities of energy dissipation to play a damping effect. It has high damping, high elasticity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-radiation, and easy pressed into the required shape, etc, so the wire mesh damping device-depth study of basic theory and revealing metal mesh damping device vibration damping mechanism are of great practical significance.First the subject built the test bench of the structures of metal mesh damping device, including hardware and software. The hardware is the vibration of beams, wire mesh absorber, eddy current sensors, testing virtual instruments; The software is the test program based on LabVIEW software according to testing requires. Through the wire mesh characteristics of test bench, the subject measured wire mesh damping device in case of various parameters of the damping characteristics, analyzed the main unit factors of wire mesh vibration damping characteristics and obtained that. With excitation frequency increasing, the amplitude of vibration damping device of wire mesh decay rate then decreased, and the phase between wire mesh and vibration damping device and the excitation device increases; With the configuration weight increasing, the amplitude of vibration damping device of wire mesh decay rate increasing, and the phase between wire mesh and vibration damping device and the excitation device increases; the influence of the temperature changes on characteristics of vibration damping device is small.This issue will use the combination of least squares parameter identification and energy method on wire mesh to build a dynamic model of the damping device, use Matlab software to finish the identification procedures of dynamic model of the damping device based on the unknown parameters. Then input the measured data into Matlab parameter identification procedure and obtain unknown parameters of the model derived data. Finally, though building curve fitting based on the obtained parameters, obtain relations between unknown parameters of the damping device in the dynamic model of and the frequency, and complete dynamic model of the damping device of wire mesh. The study make the foundation of follow-up research. And conclude that the metal mesh vibration damping device has obvious performance of the buffer in low frequency environment, that is wire mesh damping device is suitable for low frequency environment. And the greater the deformation of the damping device of wire mesh, the more obvious its damping characteristics, and metal mesh device has a better vibration damping effect.
