The structure of Switched Reluctance Motor is simple, with wide speed range and good performance, and it is also in the entire speed range with high efficiency. It has been paid widespread attention in recent years. This paper starts from the control point of view to study static and dynamic characteristics of Switched Reluctance Motor with using the finite element method.Based on finite element analysis software(ANSOFT), this paper firstly obtained magnetic field distribution in several typical rotor position from analyzing the two-dimensional and three-dimensional static magnetic field.The static flux and the static torque curves have been obtained on the basis of the results.Using two-dimensional and three-dimensional transient field, currentcurves, torque curves and flux linkage curves of the switched reluctance motor under different speed has been analyzed.The simulation results provide a theoretical basis and reference value for analyzing the work and establishing reasonable nonlinear model of Switched Reluctance Motor.Secondly,this paper, with the software FLUX and field road campaign coupled time-stepping finite element analysis,finite element model of SRM is set up,and study the simulation experiment of the control method and control characteristics with MATLAB/SIMULINK software.The results show that the established model and control circuit with field road campaign coupled time-stepping finite element analysis has better accuracy and more flexible control.This paper describes TMS320F2812 DSP as the core controller, and design the SRM control circuit, provides a reference for the realization of complex control.
