Bernard Tschumi is one of the most active avant-garde architects in the area of contemporary western architectural. As a deconstruction architect, he is deeply affected by the philosophy of deconstruction. John Loomis mentioned Tschumi in "The twentieth century construction dictionary",——"From theory to practice, and Bernard Tschumi effortless, its capability, in fact he is popular culture favorable representatives." Well known for his architectural theory, Tschumi also reveal characteristic culture in architectural practice. He served as the president of Architecture Department of Columbia University for 18 years long with outstanding contributions. His thought contains the heterogeneity of architectural creation with profound philosophical, guiding his architectural works non-logical, non-deterministic, anti-tradition, fracture, break, dislocation and many other heterogeneous composite characteristics. In the paper, the author strives from Bernard Tschumi's heterogeneous concept of architectural creation. Collecting, analyzing, deducting and concluding, the author tries to unscramble Tschumi's architectural work comprehensively with singular personality characteristics.Tschumi's original thought about heterogeneous is based on J ? Derrida's deconstruction of philosophy. Introducing the deconstruction of philosophy into the construction field, Tschumi changes the one to one relationship of "Signifier" and " Signified ", resulting the efflux of the traditional structure and rules, and the impenetration of the chaos theory through his architectural practice. Engendering the non-rational comprehension, Tschumi is affected greatly by the impact and influence of the contemporary western science, technology, society transform and aesthetics ideology. He rebels traditional geometric conformation, takes the concept of translation into architectural creation, and dismantles the original intent of creation, forming his distinctive, philosophical esoteric architectural works.Tschumi is good at absorbing other artistic approaches to consummate his heterogeneous idea.
