Currently, due to the rapid development of urbanization, construction land increased in many cities and regions, ability of ecosystem services decreased. To enhance the quality of urban ecosystem services and improve the urban ecological environment are the problems that the city desiderate to solve. Due to human well-being and ecosystem services are closely related, the study of ecosystem services draw many scholars and research institutions attention. In the rapid development of China’s urbanization process, the construction land sprawl and urban agricultural land reduced, urban agricultural landscape change greatly. Urban agricultural ecosystem plays an important role in maintaining the urban ecosystem stability and improving urban environmental quality. Maintaining reasonable urban agriculture landscape pattern advantages to urban development.This study based on geography and ecology, use landscape index, ecosystem services evaluation methods and correlation analysis to analyze urban agriculture landscape evolution and study urban agriculture ecosystem services in response to changes in the landscape in Xi’an city. Finally, the study explain the impact mechanism. The research aims to improve the theoretical system of urban agriculture and rich case study of ecosystem services. It can provide theoretical reference for rational planning of urban agriculture landscape and ecosystem services optimal in Xi’an city and similar areas.Through in-depth scientific and comprehensive study draw the following conclusions:(1) From 1999 to 2013, farmland and woodland are major portion of urban agriculture landscape in Xi’an city. Urban agricultural landscape area is reduced, landscape shapes become more complex, connectivity becomes low, degree of aggregation is goes low, the landscape tends to fragmentation, this trend will not change in a short time; Farmland, woodland, water area decrease plaque, garden, grass patch area increases. Grassland and water body shapes become more complex. Farmland, woodland were fragmented. The change of farmland and garden landscape index are obvious.(2) Values of urban agriculture ecosystem service tend to decrease, the amount of values reduce is the most obvious during 1999 to 2005; The value of all kinds of ecosystem services are declining, but the degree of decrease is distinctive. The rate of decrease of food production is maximum, the reduce amount of entertainment and cultural value is minimal, which means that food production is not dominant in urban agriculture, entertainment and cultural function are enhanced; Xi’an urban agriculture ecosystem service value low area gradually spread from town to the surrounding counties, reducing magnitude larger areas are mainly located in Zhouzhi, Lantian, Chang’an; woodland and farmland are major contributors to urban agriculture ecosystem services in Xi’an, garden, grass area increased, its value of ecosystem services is also increases.(3) The shape of the landscape of urban agriculture, area changes and changes in the atmospheric chemical processes fragmentation hinders the nutrient and water cycles between patches of carbon storehouse losses, but also hindered the flow of the landscape and reduce the material between and pollution material flow, and ultimately impact on urban agriculture ecosystems regulating services; urban agriculture landscape changes so that aeration of soil water and heat conditions and deterioration of soil nutrients also disturbed human behavior decline, soil formation environment is also damaged, and biological habitat area reduction and fragmentation, loss of biodiversity, resulting in a reduced ability of ecosystems to support services; urban agriculture landscape changes so that the matrix changes in the region, and thus the ability to decrease the supply of urban agriculture; recreational and cultural services is the overall performance of urban agriculture ecosystems, is based on other services, reduce urban agricultural biodiversity, pollution of water bodies, will reduce the ecological aesthetic and cultural functions. The Xi’an city urban agriculture landscape shape index and the fragmentation of the ecosystem services functions greater impact on urban agriculture.
