Study On Effects Of Minituber Produced By Means Of Aeroponics

Production of minituber produced by means of aeroponics was tested with NEA3O3, Zaodaba, Favorita and Huangmazi, which are cultivated extensively in China. Tuber yield, total tuber number and available tuber number of minituber from each varieties were tested in spring and the effects of environmental conditions and solution for minituber production were tested in fall in greenhouse. The results indicated that: I The best way of using aeroponics model to produce minituber was to harvest tubers in every 6 days when tuber reached 5g or more; 2 Aeroponics method was better for early mature varieties in spring experiment, and the best result was gained by NEA3 03; 3 Double concentration of solution could stimulate tuber initiation, but tuber development and high tuber yield were limited if the solution kept the same concentration during whole growing season.
