| The grasslands were deteriorated gradually in recent years and the forage cultivars with high yield, good quality, and drought and cold resis- tant were urgent needed. Two Hybrids, which include Elymus cylindricus X E. dahuricus and E. dahuricus X E. ezclsus and their parents were tested. The botan- ical, biological, yields, quality, fertility and resistant characters were studies with hybrids and their parent. The results indicate that the hybrids have higher stems reaching 160 cm, and highest ones 180cm. Dry matter yield with E. cylindricus X E. dahuricus averages 611. 25kg/mu, and 50% higher than that of the parent, and seed yield is about 94.3kg/mu, and 30 ?5 % higher compared to parent. The nutritive content is crude protein 14.01%, crude fat 6.43%, crude fibre 31.99%, amino acid 9.472mg! 100mg Dry matter yield of Elymus dahuricus X E. excelsus averages 548.21kg/mu, and 14?8% higher than that of the parent, and seed yield is about 90.7kg/mu, and increasing 10?5% compared to parent, The nutritive content is crude protein 12.96%, crude fat 5.63 %, crude fi- bre 35.82%,ammo acid 8.l39mgIlOOmg. The both hybrids have potential resistance, and fertility were re- stored, and E. cylindricus X E. dahuricus is better than other one in most respects. |
