SCN3 is one of the most destruction disease which is hard to cure when itifected. Though effective, its price and pollution makes chemical medicine unusable. The most effective and economical way as to use the resistance inherent in the plant. The first step of cultivating resistant cultivar is the choosing and identi~抜ng resistant germplasm. Wild, semi-wild and cultivated resistant or susceptible to SCN3 material is used in this study. Total phenolicis, flavonoid, chlorogenic acid and free proline are measured to SCN3 to determine the biochemical mechanism of SCN3 resistance. The invasion process discussed. The aim is to disclose to internal regularity of cultivar resistance, so to lay academic foundation for choosing, identi1~ing and cultivity SeN3 resistant material. The results show: The diffrrence are evident in the later period. The difference are evident in the resistant and susceptible material infected by SCN3. Flavonoid is the best biochemical index in the four biochemical indexes. The best identi1~ing period is the later period.
