Effects of copper, phosphorus contents in diets(1 1 .8 7.2mg/kg, 0.552 1 .342mg/kg) and pH, temperature in cultural water on the contents of nucleotides in M rnpponensis muscles were investigated under experimental conditions. The main results were as follows. 1. Adenylate energy charge(AEC) Total adenylate nucleotide(TAN)... ATP!ADP and ATP/AMP may show the physiological stress of prawns. They were beneficial indexes to research the nutritional demand of growth and aquatic environment of prawns. 2. It was useful to add proper copper to diet for the growth of M nipponensis. During the active growth, prawns have better body constitution and they are sensitive to the change of dietary copper. With the change of the content of dietary copper, AEC TAN ATP/ADP and ATP/AMP showed corresponding change too. If the content of dietary copper was too high, it would inhibit the activities of enzyme. Results showed the more proper contents of dietary copper were 20 0mg/kg. 3. The growth of M.nipponensis was improved when the proper phosphorus were added to diet. The proper amount was 1.082%-- 1.292%. The change of AEC and TAN was correlated. The change of AEC and ATP/AMP has similar tendency. 4. M nipponensis live in alkaline water, but if the pH was too high, the aquatic environment would affect the growth of Mnippinensis and even maybe happen unnormal phenomenon: such as in the present research, prawns showed frequent molt, high died percent and poor growth at pH96. Results showed AEC was correlative with the environmental stress prawns lived. AEC- TAN-. ATP/ADP and ATP/AMP were the important and beneficial complement as indexes of environmental stress. The comprehensive researches of ecological indexes and the change of AEC TAN ATP/ADP and ATP/AMP showed the cultural water of pH7.6 made Mnipponensis be in good conditions. 5. Temperature refined the growth and reproduction of Mnipponensis. Experimentshowed AEC -. TAN ATP/ADP and ATP/AMP may be as the indexes of environmental stress. Both juvenile and sub-adults could live in the culture water of 22--30C.
