The research was conducted with two hybrids "yedan 12" (with short-thick ears) and "yedan 19" (with long-thin ears). The dynamic of nutrition (soluble sugar, starch, amnio acid, protein) and mineral element (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, manganese, copper, zinc) in the different position (top, middle and base) of silk and cob was studied during the growth, development and senescence of silk. The result as follows:The dynamic of soluble sugar content presents single apex curve, and the apices were in the 5th after silking. The content of soluble sugar in the silk and cob has the same trend. The difference in two hybrids was not evident. The trend in different position of cob was accord with the silk. The soluble sugar concentration in different position of silk shows similar to other position trend, but the concentration in the top of silk is the lowest, the middle and the base of the silk have higher concentration, which possible relate to extend of pollen tube.Starch in the silk and cob has the single apex, too. But the peak value was showed in different time between cob and silk: silk in the 5th, but the cob in the 3rd after silking. The two hybrids and different position of silk and cob have the same changing.Amnio acid has different curve in silk and cob. In the silk, the content present single apex curve and the 9* was the time that the peak value show, but the content of amnio acid in cob present low content before silking and higher after silking. The content was low before silking and then ascends gradually, the 5* reach the higher content and then moving hi this range.Protein in the silk and cob has the similarity trend and show the dynamic of hyperbola: before silking, protein has the higher content, with the processing of cob growth, protein content decline, and the 1st reach lowest after silking and then changing in this rang. The different position of silk and cob have the same trend.Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium content decline gradually during silk grows, develops and senesces. In the silk and cob, the content has the same changing. There werenot prominent difference in the different position of silk and cob, even in the different hybrids. However, the content of N > P> K in cob was higher than that in the silk. And the three elements show prominent correlatively with the rate of pollination-seed.As a whole, calcium, magnesium, sulfur declines gradually from high to low. But the changing of Cax Mg was gently than S'. The content of Ca> Mg^ S in the cob was higher than that in the silk, but the difference of trend in the silk and in the cob was not obviously, the different position of silk and cob, even different hybrids have not apparent diversities, either. In the silk of "yedan 12", iron content increase a little after silking, but the change was gently for the silk of''yedan 19"; in the cob, the content of iron decline gradually, and there was a calm trend after silking. The different position of silk and cob have the same trend.Manganese content in the silk change gently fore-and-aft silking, and scope was small. The trend in the silk and cob was the same, even in the different position of silk and cob. The content was higher in the cob than in the silk, the content in the yedan 12 is lower than yedan 19.The two hybrids have the same changing trend. The changing trend of copper content was descendent in the silk of "yedan 12" and "yedan 19". But in the cob of "yedan 12", content was higher before silking, the lowest in the 1st before silking, ascending a little with small scope after silking, and then changing in this rang. But in the "yedan 19", the change scope was wide in the 1 rt after silking, and then decline. The different position of silk and cob have the same trend in the two hybrids. The content of copper in the yedan 19 is higher than that in the yedan 12.Zinc also present degressive trend, the change in the silk and cob was consistent. Zinc content change was small in the silk than that in the cob. But the cob...
