The technology that will be abandoned corn stalk resources into high quality maize straw feed,is the important topic of protecting the ecological environment and promoting the sustainabledevelopment of farming and animal husbandry. Using for reference the design thought oftraditional straw kneading machine and adopting the methods of the theoretical analysis and designcalculation and the virtual prototype technology combination, designs the rub silk machine of cornstover. The paper mainly studied the mechanical properties and the kneading mechanism of maizestraw, the design and calculation of key components selection, the parts modeling of keycomponents, the motion simulation of key institutions and the finite element analysis of keycomponents.The research contents and results are as follows in this paper:(1) The mechanics performance test of tensile compression and shear obtaines the load-displacement curve with corn straw as the research object. The elastic modulus and strength oftensile compression and shear was obtained by using data processing software of corn stover. Theresults: when stretching, the modulus of elasticity Ej≈5117.9~7800.5MPa, the strength σj≈14.00~24.00MPa; when compressing, the modulus of elasticity Kg≈350.32~375.80MPa, thestrength σg≈6.85~8.55MPa; when shearing, the modulus of elasticity Gh≈14.06~29.48MPa,the strengthτh≈1.84~4.86MPa.(2) The analysis of the rubbing mechanism obtained that the several factors of the kneadingquality and degree of electricity production by the rack numbers of rubbing indoor, the hammerpiece numbers, the rotor speed, the coefficient of the corn straw stalk material and wall frictionand the flow effect based on kinematics and aerodynamics.(3) The corn stalks rub silk machine of low power consumption and economy applicable,combining the flattening to squeeze and rubbing funtion was designed according to the purpose ofthis study and combining the features and characteristics of the existing equipment. The parts andcomponents of the machine was designed in detail and the parameters of the parts and componentswas optimized. The main technical parameters of the corn stalks rub silk machine as follows: therelative dynamic,11kW; productivity,2t/h; the entire machine quality,360kg; The external size,2850×750×900mm. (4) The models of each of production components of the corn stalks rub silk machine werecarried out by3D modeling software and the key mechanism was performed the movementsimulation; The finite element analysis of the key components hammer was studied for itsstructure optimization design and safety validation.
