| Speciality: Forest protection Name: ZHANG ShuangIn this paper, by the method of observing indoors and investigating outdoors, Hoplocampa fulvicornis panzer's biological characteristics and habits, ecological characteristics are achieved. On the basis of the former, the enzyme activity of Hoplocampa larvae eating varieties is studied. Various varieties have different resistance to Hoplocampa fulvicornis. The distribution of Hoplocampa fulvicornis is investigated. Test of preventing Hoplocampa from damaging is done.l)The emergence peak stage of Hoplocampa fulvicornis is at the first decade of April in Yixian county, in accordance with full bloom period of Prunus saliceina. The adult wasp need supplementary nutrition. Female wasp has 80 eggs or so. The ratio of female wasp to male wasp is 4:1.An adult wasp can live for l~9d,the life of female wasp is longer than the male wasp. The time of the first generation larvae coming of the fruits is affected by temperature.2)There is significant difference in damage between plum varieties. Various heights, inwards spaces and outwards spaces of the tree crown. However, no significant difference is found between various directions of the crown. The bigger the number of the fruits, the bigger the number of the damaged fruits and the rate of damage .The space distribution model of the Hoplocampa larvae is random in orchard of some varieties, centralized in orchard of only one variety3)Various plum varieties can affect the Hoplocampa fulvicornis by the mechanism of physiology. There is some relations between the enzyme activity and the resistance of plum .There is some differences in Hoplocampa fulvicornis feeding on various varieties of the plum.4) Hoplocampa fulvicornis occurs in many districts of Hebei. Coving the ground is an effective method to prevent Hoplocampa fulvicornis from damaging .The method can prevent temperature and water from dissipating and evaporating. It is a effective , economical, no harmful to environment-47-method .
