The study was conducted in the farm of Xinjiang Shi hezi University and the farm of Shandong Agricultural University simultaneously. The experiment studied the growing and developing and the seed quality variation of different maize varieties in different ecological condition by the planting time experiment in Shandong and Xinjiang.Pay more attention to the relation of ecological factors and maize seed quality in different ecological region, and the quality difference in different ecological condition, Analysis the relationship between ecological factor and seed quality deeply by statistical methods. These main results can be gain from this study:1 The discrepancy of maize seed quality in different ecological conditionsThere is obvious discrepancy of maize seed quality in different ecological conditions. The results of maize seed nutrition index in Shandong and Xinjiang are below, The seed protein and amino acid content in Xinjiang are higher than in Shandong, but the starch and soluble sugar content in Xinjiang are lower than in Shandong, Seed free aa content in Xinjiang is lower than in Shandong. The Lys content in Xinjiang is higher than in Shandong. Mineral element and microelement in seed are different in two ecological area, In generally, The P > K content in Xinjiang are lower than in Shandong, Mg> Zn^ Mn content in Xinjiang is higher than in Shandong.2 The discrepancy of different maize varieties seed quality in same Ecological ConditionsThere is obvious discrepancy of different maize varieties seed quality in one ecological condition. The results are the protein content of Sc704 the Xinjiang variety' is higher than YD22 the Shandong variety's. But the starch and soluble sugar content of it are lower. The protein components of seed and amino acid constituents in Sc704 are higher than in YD22. The free amino acid content of HOI 15 is the highest, the content of Sc704 is lowest. The Leu and Lys content of HOI 15 are higher, YD22 has a higher content of Thr Val Ile Phe. The discrepancy of mineral and microelement content is: K P Mg content in YD22 is higher tiian HOI 15 and Sc704's. The Fe and Cu content in HOI 15 is the highest, but Sc704'S Zn and Mn content is the highest.3 The discrepancy of maize seed quality in different height treatmentsThere is obvious discrepancy of maize seed quality in different height treatments. The protein^ Lys and free amino acid content of seed is increasing when the height isascending, but the content of starch and soluble sugar is decreasing, the participating varieties have the alike tendency. The amino acid components mineral and microelement content in seed have different change, the result is below: with the height ascending, the content ofP K Ca Mgis decreasing, Fe- Cu Mn Zn content is increasing. The seed free amino acid content is increasing while the height is ascending, and different varieties have alike trend.4 The discrepancy of maize seed quality in different planting timeThere is obvious discrepancy of maize seed quality in different planting time. The protein content increased firstly, then decreased when the planting time delayed, varieties have the same trend. It indicate we can get high seed quality through selecting planting time. The protein component content in seed has discrepancy in different planting day. The content of albumin globulin and gliadin is higher at early planting time, the glutelin is reverse. The soluble sugar content in seed is increasing first, then decreasing with planting time delayed. Varieties have alike tendency. Different varieties get their highest content at different planting time, Sc704 is at the third planting time, YD22 is at the second planting time. The content of starch and free amino acid in seed have difference in planting time treatment. The content is increasing firstly, after decreasing with the planting time adding, there is same variation in varieties. The CF and CA content is increasing then decreasing with planting time adding.5 The relationship between leaf-, stem quality and e...
