There are many wild rice (Oryza.ruffipogan Griff) distributions in China. As cultivar rice's ancestor, it's a valuable wild germplasm. A lot of scientists study it. The study of Oryza. ruffipogan Griff include morphological marker, cytological marker, biochemical marker and molecular marker. Molecular marker is DNA genetic marker which study in Oryza. ruffipogan Griff mainly inchude RFLP (Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism), RAPD (Random Amplified Polymopbic DNAs), SSR(Simple Sequence Repeat) and AFLP (Amplified Fragment lengeh polymorphism).Using SSR study Oryza. ruffipogan Griff germplam in 7 provinces (Guangxi, Gruangdong, Yunnan, Hainan, Hunan, Fujian, Jiangxi) 17 groups in China. SSR has been used widely in species identification.This research will provide some basis to research and manufacture.The main results as follow:(1) All the metierials were indentifiied with 7 primers and 60 fragment;as a result all the metirials were effectively seperated.(2) Oryza. ruffipogan Griff is wildly distributed in China.From UPMGA,Guangdong and Guangxi are in the same group,Hainan Yunnan Hunan Jiangxi and Fujian are in different groups. The origin center of cultivar rice is Guangdong and Guangxi which is proved by molecular level.(3) The results of UPMGA shows that the genetic variation is different in different groups, So conservation of Oryza. ruffipogan Griff is stated on nature conservation.(4) SSR marker is a very valuable molecular marker in Oryza. ruffipogan Griff ( na is 1.4843, ne is 1.1746, h is 0.1150). Oryza, ruffipogan Griff has lots of genetic variation which can be used in cultivar rice.
