Seven paternal half-sib families from Liangshan semi-fine wool sheep were used to detect quantitative trait loci (QTL) for birth weight, weaning weight, weaning gain, 1 8 months weight, 30 months weight. This population was Genotyped for 1 1 microsatellite markers on ovine chromosome 1 .According to record of 5 traits, drew weight cumulative growth curve, relative growth curve and absolute growth curve and analyses phenotypic correlation among 5 traits and screened quantitative trait loci (QTL) for 5 traits. Data were analyzed by SAS,EXCEL and MultiQTL (Version 1.5) .The results indicated that the growth rate of Liangshan semi-fine wool sheep was the same as livestock's. Growth intensity and growth rate became low gradually, There was correlation among 5 traits. The correlation between birth weight and weaning weight was significant and the correlation between birth weight and 18 months weight was significant (P<0.05). The correlation of between weaning weight and weaning gain was significant(P<0.01).QTL analysis showed that a quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting birth weight and a quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting 30 months weight were detected between ILSTS004 and CSSM004 in B3K5055 family; a quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting weaning weight and a quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting weaning gain were detected between BM7145 and BM6506 in X2K95135 family, there was a quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting 30 months weight between BMS83S and BMS1636 in X2K95135 family; in H1G5035 family, a quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting 18 months weight was detected between BM6506 and MCM130.
