The experiment is conducted under the simulated field ecological environments, which tests the effect of the different dose of Nicosulfuron on the prevention and control of difficult elimination weed, and the endurance and sensitivity of varieties of corn to Niccsulfuron, even under the different temperatures, the resistance of different varieties to Nicosulfuron. And find out the safe extent of temperature and humidity of corn to Nicosulfuron.1 .The endurance to Nicosulfuron of different varieties of com is much diversified. Dent corn shows more endurance , hard corn shows less endurance . The order is : purslane dent corn > semi-dent corn >hard corn >popcom.2. With normal dosage, the range of safe temperature of Nicosulfuron is 10"C~32癈, and it is easy to cause damage under 10 and over 32 ; The test shows that 60%~100% air humidity is safe for corn. The humidity under 60% reduces the security as well as the effect.3. The mixture of Nicosulfuron with atrazine or with 2, 4-D butylate can extend the range of weed killing. In a certain degree, the safety can also be improved. It is more effective and safer to apply 0.75 liter Nicosulfuron plus 1.25 liter atrazine per hactre. Better ecology economy treatment doorsill can be achieved. The rate of net weight reduce is 96.4%; It has better effect to apply 0.75 liter Nicosulfuron plus 0.3 liter 2,4 D butylate per hactre. The rate of protection and control is 97.1%~100%. It is relatively safe for corn.4. Nicosulfuron is a finer and extensively-used weed killer. It is relatively safe for corn to be applied 0.75-1.25 liter per hactre. It is 100 % effective for xylophyta weed, 87.9%~100% effective for broadleaf weed. The rate of the net weight reduce is 88.6%~97%.
