Study On Biological Character Of Xinjiang Xinhe Pigeon`

Xinjiang XinHe pigeon is C.L.neglecta Hnme of ColumbaLivia Gmelin. This essay studies the anatomical and histological andbiological characters of XinHe pigeon and tests 32 data relating to thephysiological, biochemical and hemorheological aspects. By stastisticalsolution of 10 caculatable data , and using Student T-test andstep-by-step regression analysis, this article targets on the whole bioodviscosity(ηb) and plasma viscosity(η p). It concludes as follows: XinHepigeon hematocrit(HCT) is relatively high; its blood glucose(G) is 3-5times as more than human's, one to twice more than broiler; globulincontent 2 percent more than meat pigeon; fat content lower thanmeat-oriented pigeon; whole blood viscosity relatively high whileplasma viscosity is not high. The anatomical and tissue characteristics ofXinHe pigeon's digestive system has a peculiar nature. XinHe pigeon isextensively and massively breeded. For its special breeding mode,XinHe pigeon remain its powerful wildness, powerful adaptability, earlymaturity and high reproduction ratio, With careful organization,scienticfic methods, it will make a considerable production voltirne andvalue, so it is really a rare, green and nutritious food.
