This paper concentrates on mycorrhizal synthesis between two plantation tree species -Pinus tabulaeformis and Larix-principis rupprechtii and seven fungal strains(include five indigenous strains and two introduced strains). Several factors which influence the mycorrhizal formation have been examined. Under controlled conditions we should adopt metal halogen lamp as illuminant and inoculate when the second lateral roots are abundant. As the ectomycorrhizal fungi are considered the most appropriate agar media for Suillus-96, Suillus-99 and Suillus-00 is MMN and the suitable culture media for Cenococcum gecphilum-00, Cenococcum geophilum-02, Cenococcum geophilum-AM51 is Pachlewski and MRD is the best media for Paxillus involutus. The verrniculite soak in MMN solution as cultural substrate can apply to all the strains. The results indicate that the method of mycorrhizal synthesis in axenic conditions is practicable and Suillus-96, Suillus-99 are compatible with P.tabulaeformis and Suillus-96, Suillus-00 are compatible with L. rupprechtii. in addition pot synthesis further confirms the conclusion of the former. This paper will provide theoretical and applied reference to requesting tree seedlings that are inoculated with efficient strains of mycorrhizal fungi before outplanting in the field .
