The processing quality of wheat flour is closely related with HMW-GS.Thus,the biochemical and genetic study on HMW-GS plays a very important role on the improving of wheat quality.After purposefully choosing several typical wheat parents to group and cross , the F2 seeds were analysed by SDS-PAGE. The results showed that: (1) In the F2 seeds ,HMW-GS are separated in accordance with certain rules, the ratio of Glu-Ala to Glu-Alc was about 1 to 1; the ratio of Glu-B1b to Glu-B1c was about 9 to 7 ; Glu-Blb to Glu-B1i was about 1 to 1 ; Glu-Blc to Glu-B1i was about 9 to 7 ; Glu-Blb to Glu-B1h was about 9 to 7 ; the ratio of Glu-D1d to Glu-D1i was about 1 to 1 ; the ratio of Glu-Dld to Glu-D1c was about 1 to 1. (2) In the F2 seeds ,the parent subunits are separated quite completely .If continuing the work of repeating the SDS-PAGE analysis of the single seed .selecting the purposeful seeds,and sowing the seeds,the more pairs of near-isogenic lines material can be stabilized out. (3) The incomplete expression have arisen in Glu-Blb and/or Glu-Blc. (4) Several 2-band seeds were occurred.
