Studies On The Correlation Between The Contents Of The Mineral Nutrition And The Activities Of The SOD,POD,PPO In Different Varieties Jujube Trees

The enzyme is a primary chemical and vital substance, its activity is closely related with the contents of the mineral nutrition and the resistance of the plant. But these studies were done under stress, however, the studies is blank under the natural and common management condition. So the experimental material in the test is jun-jujube trees and pear-jujube trees that are under common management condition. The samples are 15 and 30 years, and their shape are little coronal-shaped and fan-shaped. The mineral nutritions (K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) in branches and leaves, and the activities of enzyme of SOD, POD, PPO were measured during the period of growth. The results were as follows:(1) The activities of SOD, POD, PPO in later stage of the growth were significant higher than those in early stage of the growth. But the activities of SOD, POD were significantly decreased early in October .(2) The variation of the contents of the mineral nutrition in branches, deciduous branches and leaves were regular with the growth of the organs. The results were as follows: the contents in leaves>that of deciduous branches>that of branches; The change of the contents of the mineral nutritions is stable in August, so its leaves could be picked for analysis.(3) The contents of the mineral nutrition and the activities of enzymes were different for the different varieties,trees shaped and trees age.(4) There were different degree of the positive correlation between the mineral nutrition and the activities of enzymes. Especially, there were significant or most significant positive correlation between the mineral nutritions and the activities of enzymes during the most of growth stage.(5) There were also different degrees of correlation among the mineral nutrition. There were positive correlation among K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Mn were as the same.There were antagonistic effect among Ca, Mn, Zn, between Mg and Fe and between K and Zn, there were synergism among K, Fe, Cu and most minerals.The results indicate that under the common management, there were close correlationbetween the contents of mineral nutrition and the activities of SOD, POD, PPO. So, it has an important effect on the mechanism of resistance of jujube trees. The higher contents of mineral nutritions and the activities of SOD, POD,PPO, and their interaction could be synergism the physiological and biochemical process and could ensure a better growth state of the jujube trees, could decrease the amount of disease and the harm from the bad condition. Therefore, the resistance of jun-jujue trees are higher than that of pear-jujube trees, and the resistance of fan-shaped jun-jujube trees is higher than little coronal-shaped ones, and the 15 years ones higher than 30 years ones. In addition, the correlation among the mineral nutrition, there were antagonistic and synergism effect, and higher amount of K, Fe, Cu could improve avail of the other mineral nutritions. In a word, the studies on the correlation between the contents of the mineral nutrition and the activities of the SOD, POD,PPO in different varieties of jujube trees, different shapes and different ages, will provide new theoretical evidence for high yield and high quality cultivation and the physiology of resistance of the jujube trees.
