| The polymorphism of 26 microsatellite loci from New Yangzhou chicken was analyzed. Number of alleles of each lineage in the breed was counted, and the rate of homozygote was calculated. Polymorphism information content (PIC), mean heterozygosity were calculated according to gene frequencies of 26 microsatellites The average values of homozygote rate, average PICs and heterozygosity of 26 microsatellite loci was 64.3%, 0.337 and 0.375, respectively. The results indicates that New Yangzhou chicken is a genetically stability breed and satisfies the genetic standard of closed colony animal.Analysis of relationship between seven microsatellite loci(ADL102 ADL172 ADL290,MCW5,MCW58,MCW104 MCW123)and the body-weight from 0 week to 6week of New Yangzhou chicken indicates that Loci MCW58 significantly affected body-weight both in parental and F1 generation, and Loci MCW123 had only sifnificant effects on parental hens, not on F1 generation. The research found that winthin a certain range, dietry protein level or quality takes no liner relationship with early growth of New Yangzhou chicken. But dietary protein levels had significant effects on body-weight of the chicks. The body-weight of low-protein group was higher than mid-protein group and high-protein group(P<0.05). The food-intake was highest in low-protein group and lowest in high-protein group.Meanwhile, under each protein-level, there had no significant variation in body-weight of 2-week-old,4-week-old, 6-week-old hens among the genotypes of microsatellite loci MCW58,which indicated that the QTL exist near the loci MCW58 that affected body-weight hens, but the gene value of QTL were not affected byprotein level. |
