The polymorphism of 11 microsatellite loci from New Yangzhou chicken were analyzed. Number of alleles of each Loci, in New Yangzhou chicken was calculated, and frenquecies of alleles and genotypes was accounted according to gene frequencies of llmicrosatellites. The average values of alleles number ,genotype,average PIC ,and heterozygosity of 11 microsatellite loci was 4.272, 0.3648,0.5209,0.6034,accordingly.During the experiment there were positive significant Correlation between body weight at the first egg (P<0.05) and average egg weight at 18-40wk; between egg weight and eggshell weight, egg yolk, thickness of weight, eggshell; between strength of eggshell and specific gravity; between specific gravity and thickness of eggshell, haugh unit; between egg index and haugh unit; between egg yolk weight and eggshell weight, thickness of eggshell at 40 wk. At the time it was negative correlation between strength of eggshell and egg index at 40 wk. 11 Microsatellite DNA primers were used to analyse whether there were some quantitative trait loci or main gene affecting egg quality and production traits in New Yangzhou chicken populations. The results indicated that among 11 microsatellites Loci, age at first egg and egg index among different genotypes in ADL0166 have significant difference; Average egg weight in 40 wk, egg yolk weight among different genotypes in ADL0273 have significant difference; Egg index and haugh units at 40 .wk for least squares means in MCW0085 have significant difference; Egg weight and eggshell weight among different genotypes in MCW0014 have significant difference. Haugh units at 40 wk for least squares means in ADL185 have significant difference.The Results by analysis of variance indicated that ADL0166, ADL0273, ADL0085, MCW0014 are likely to have linkage with some quantitative trait loci which affect egg traits in New Yangzhou chicken; ADL185 is likely to have linkage with some quantitative trait loci which affect hault unit in New Yangzhou chicken. Some traits that were significant collection did not appear the same result in microsatellite loci.The reason was guessed that the traits have loose linkage with 11 microsatellite locus.
