Useing BPCL ultra weak chemiluminescence analyzier, the ultraweak bioluminescence and delayed bioluminescent spectrum of anabaena flos-aquae have been first systematically detected . The characteristic and measurement condition of ultraweak bioluminescence of anabaena flos-aquae are discussed. Furthermore, the change of ultraweak bioluminescence and delayed bioluminescent spectrum of anabaena flos-aquae after the addition of metsulfuron-methyl are studied. At the same time, the mechanism of metsulfuron-methyl on anabaena flos-aquae has been preliminarily studied from the sensitivities of acetolactate synthase (EC 4, 1,3, 18,ALS) on metsulfuron-methyl in vitro and in vivo, respectively. The results are shown as follows:1. From the study of ultraweak luminescence of anabaena flos-aquae, revealeded that: 1) the detection of ultraweak bioluminescence of anabaena flos-aquae with BPCL ultra weak chemiluminescence analyzier first confirmed blue-green algae, the linker between bacteria and algae, have the ability of ultraweak bioluminescence, which showed that the species with different evolution levels commonly have the ability of ultraweak bioluminescence; 2) the measured photo count rate-time curve of ultraweak luminescent from anabaena flos-aquae follows a hyperbolic decay law Indicating the coherence of biophoton emission. 3)The intension of ultraweak bioluminescence were dependent on the different development stages. During logarithmic growth stages , ultraweak bioluminescence of Anabaena flos-aquae was strongly correlated to the concentration of Anabaena flos-aquae(r=0.9344).2. Studies on delayed bioluminescent spectrum of anabaena flos-aquae showed:!) Because anabaena flos-aquae is low level species, the delayed bioluminescent spectrum of anabaena flos-aquae was simple, spectral lines emitted from anabaena flos-aquae were 440nm and 575nm. 2) Chlorophyll a played an important role in the delayed bioluminescent.3. The discussion that metsulfuron-methyl influenced the properties of ultraweak bioluminescence of anabaena flos-aquae elucidated : 1) metsulfuron-methyl influenced the intension of ultraweak bioluminescence and changed the spectral distribution. 2) metsulfuron-methyl may more effectively control the growth of anabaena flos-aquae in lower temperature.4. In order to study the mechanism of anabaena flos-aquae against metsulfuron-methyl, the trial was carried out by the comparison between sensitivities of acetolactate synthase(ALS) to metsulfuron-methyl in vitro and in vivo. The results showed that theALS specific activities were inhibitted by metsulfuron-methyl in vitro, and the higher concentration of metsulfuron-methyl, the more strongly inhibition. IC5o=0.026mg/L.In vivo, 0.001mg/L metsulfuron-methyl had almost no effect on the activity of ALS because the concentration of metsulfuron-methyl was too small. When the concentrations of metsulfuron-methyl were 0.01-10 mg/L, the ALS activities were inhibited and IC50=0.714mg/L...
