Ultra-weak Photon Emission (UPE) from biological living system is now a well established and accepted universal phenomenon. Such photon emission is inherently associated with many fundamental processes in biological systems and closely connected with many important biological functions. The main aim of the study is to investigate the relation between UPE intensity and fruit ripening through detection of UPE. On one hand, hoping to establish noninvasive test standards of maturity, on the other hand, to fit the DL data to explain the luminescence mechanism。At last, comparing the data of Chinese goosebeery and tomato, it is found the similarity and difference of them in UPE。The main content is as follows:1.Using the system of the Single-Photon-Count to detect the spontaneous ultra-weak photon emission of Chinese goosebeery in two stored environments (28℃and 4℃stored), at the same time, another two biochemistry parameters: respiratory intensity and chlorophyll content has been measured.2. After being induced by fluorescent lamp, the delayed luminescence(DL) of Chinese goosebeery under different stored environments of 28℃and 4℃will be detected respectively. The data were dealt with curve fitting.3.Comparing the UPE and DL of Chinese goosebeery and tomato in ripening, analyzed the similarity and difference of them in UPE。The results of this research are as follows:1. Under the environment of 28℃stored, respiratory intensity of Chinese goosebeery reached its climax on the tenth day. The curve of the spontaneous ultra-weak photon emission variety just consists with that of the carbon dioxide. This indicates that the Chinese goosebeery has reached maturity. Under the environment of 4℃stored, the data of respiratory intensity and the spontaneous ultra-weak photon emission have changed a little, both of respiratory intensity and the spontaneous ultra-weak photon emission hasn't researched its climax yet. At the same time, the respiratory intensity and the spontaneous ultra-weak photon emission in 4℃stored are all lower than in 28℃.2. Under the environment of 28℃, we measured the DL relaxation curve of the Chinese goosebeery which were stimulated by fluorescent lamp, fitting the DL relaxation curve, the results of hyperbolic function is the best, this consists with coherent theory. Contrasting the UPE of Chinese goosebeery and tomato, we found spontaneous ultra-weak photon emission has the same trend with respiratory intensity, The peak value of Chinese goosebeery was higher than tomato, fitting parameter of DL in Chinese goosebeery and tomato are different, it shows UPE detection can be used as ripening guide line and compared the climacteric intensity in different fruit.
