Studies on the characteristics of transgenic male sterile line 15A of rapeseed {Brassica napus), including seeing about it's fecundity, identify and filter resistance to sclerotinia sclerotiorum, assay and filter qualitative, effect of temperature to flower morphologic and fertility, and pilot study on physiology and biochemistry. The main results were as follows:1) The inbred percent of pods of transgenic male sterile line 15A is zero, hybridize percent of pods is 91.34% , inartificial hybridize percent of pods of is 90.30%,the results show that the male sterility is quite and hybridize percent of pods is high.2) The identify of resistance to sclerotinia sclerotiorum show that 15A belong to media resistance variety, and screen out fouty-two individual plants which disease grade is zero.3 ) Screen out ten individual plants which content of glucosinolates is under 20 u mol g-1,the number of zero erucic individual plants is thirty-six,and Screen out eight individual plants which content of oil is above 38%.4) By means of continue fourteen days observation to 15A of flower morphologic and fertility, the result show that the change of Transgenic Brassica napus male sterile line 15A is inapparent, microscopic examination undiscovered normal pollen, this show that the male sterilityis quite.5) Study on the content of soluble protein , content of soluble sugar , content of proline and peroxidase activity in different develop period of pollen of transgenic Brassica napus male sterile line 15A and other two cytoplasm male sterile line 681A and 392A , the result show that the change of transgenic male sterile line 15A is same to that of 681A and 392A.
