The author reports the study results on soil animal in the plastic glasshouse environment in Qingzhou district. The investigated location locates at the vegetable planting area in Qingzhou district, 5 kilometers north to Qingzhou city , about 36° 43' east longitude ,118° 32' north latitude and 140m above sea level. Soil belongs to brown soil type. PH value is 7.5-7.8.In order to study the structure of soil animal communities and changing regulation in plastic glasshouse, and the effect of soil animal by plastic glasshouse, We select totally 8 spots that chosen from the plastic glasshouse that are using for one year, three years, five years, seven years, nine years and form the plastic glasshouse that had abandoned for one year, three years, the farmland is used as control. Each spot has the similar vegetable cultivation type and season. From May of 2002 to April of 2003, we got samples each month (12 times totally) The sample is collected quantitatively each layer. The capacity of soil wreath knife is 100 cm 2. We collect 72 samples each month, then we use the hand selecting method and the Tullgren funnel method to collect the soil animals. At the same time ,we also record the main environmental factors which include soil temperature, water containing capacity and the PH value of the soil.Investigation shows that Collembola, Prasitiformes and Acariformes are the main group, accounting for 50.76%, 22.04% and 14.86% of total amount of soil animals respectively. Moreover, Coleoplera, Prasitiformes and Plesiopora occupy 4.34%, 4.24% and 1.15% of the total amount of soil animals. This 6 groups of soil animals are common soil animals in this region, they occupy 97.39% of the total soil animals of this region ,and they constitute the main body of soil animals community in this area. After analysis for all the 8 spots, we find the quantity distributes and constitution of the soil animals are obviously different. We can see that the amount of the soilanimal decreases since the increase of the time used for greenhouse cultivation and they can recover after they are abandoned for 3 years. The difference of the quantitative distribution and group constitution are more obvious in different month for each of the total 8 spots. In all the 95 times of greenhouse investigated , animals of Collembola are found 83 times, 53 times for Oribatida and 64 times for Acariformes respectively. The seasonal changes of soil animals are much more obvious, the peak are located from July to September, and the lowest are in January, which show that the soil animals are influenced greatly by the soil temperature. The animal community and the major group have the same change trend. The soil water capacity also has close relation to the amount of soil animals. The vertical distribution change for the soil animals are clear. Most of the soil animal have a trend to locate at the top layer of the soil, the amount capacity are: 46.8% in the layer of 0-5cm, 29.5% in layer 5-10cm, 23.7% in layer 10-15cm respectively. We use the diversity index of Shannon-wiener, evenness index of Pielou , dominance index of Simpson to measure the community diversity in this region . The results show the diversity of the region is not high. The community diversity index is lower than 1/2 of the largest diversity index; For some spots with high diversity, the diversity index is about 2/3 of the largest diversity index. For some spots with low diversity, the diversity index is only 1/3 of the largest diversity index. The result showed above indicates that the greenhouse has some influence on the soil animal community. The greenhouse can cause the decrease for the amount, density and a lower diversity index for soil animals.According to the Jaccard's similarity coefficient, the biggest value is 0.8421, the lowest is 0.5417. In 28 similarity coefficient, there are 9 similarity index ,their index value is higher than 0.75 which occupies 1/3 of the total 28 coefficient. According to the lowest percentage similarity coefficient, the an...
